Sean Hogan

Seán commenced his ten-year PwC career as an auditor in the Dublin office, before moving to Miami and New York.
He then returned to PwC Dublin and then went onwards to PwC London, as part of the Deals team (M&A, corporate finance, business advisory, IPO’s).
Thereafter, Seán was a founding employee of NAMA, a Finance Director of a Dermot Desmond family venture and more recently a Chief Financial Officer with the international events company Cogs & Marvel.
Over this period Seán has continued his passion for start-ups and is both an advisor and investor to a number of early stage ventures.
Seán is passionate about team building and the integration of finance, operations and strategy to drive growth.
Seán earned a BComm and Masters in Accounting, both from UCD, achieved a Diploma in Corporate Finance, is a Chartered Accountant and holds an MBA from INSEAD business school.

Eveline Deegan
Group Chief Internal Auditor
Athora
Currently Group Chief Internal Auditor for Athora, Eveline is a member of the senior leadership team involved in establishing and implementing the strategic and operational pillars for Athora. Prior to this, Eveline was Global Deputy Head of Internal Audit at XL Catlin Group where she worked in partnership with senior leadership, supporting the integration of XL and Catlin Group. Eveline spent 10 years at AXA MPS Financial Limited, a Dublin-based international life assurance company, where she held the roles of Chief Financial Officer, Head of Internal Audit and Compliance and Chief Risk Officer.
A Chartered Accountant (Ireland) and Tax Consultant registered with the ITI, Eveline began her career at BDO in Audit, before progressing to Tax Senior with Arthur Anderson and subsequently IFSC Client Manager with Bank of America. In 1999, she was hired by Prudential Europe, initially as Product and Market Development Manager before moving on to be Head of Financial Control.

Ronan Farrelly

Robert Walters
Ronan holds a BA in Accounting and Finance from Dublin City University and he is a qualified ACCA. He commenced his career in recruitment in Dublin in 2001 before relocating to London in 2005. He initially specialised in Professional Services recruitment and work for the largest independent finance recruiter in the UK. Ronan then moved to a FTSE 250 recruitment company where he headed up their Accounting and Finance division for London and Reading. At Robert Walters, Ronan is responsible fo the Commerce, Financial Services, Professional Services and Supply Chain and Procurement teams. His teams support clients with mid to senior level interim and permanent recruitment across these specialisms. Ronan has a proven track record running volume recruitment campaigns for the Big 4 accountancy firms and FTSE 100 companies.
