The 2 CFOs spoke about how they groomed their career, overcome challenges, and found successes in their field. While on the HR side, we heard about the elements and traits that are looked for when recruiting key finance positions and what are the hurdles when sourcing for talents within the field.

Koosoon Rattanaporn

CFO
S. Khonkaen Foods Public Company Ltd.



Koosoon is the CFO at S. Khonkaen Foods, a leading food company, where he manages the transformation of finance and accounting function and process improvement and systems implementation. Prior to this, he was a CFO of Taokaenoi, where he successfully led the IPO and transformation of finance function.

He has extensive experience in accounting, controllership, finance business partner and in leading finance and accounting teams. He started his career with Nawaplastic, SCG subsidiary and later took on the role of Senior Business Analysis Manager at Lixil.

Piyawat Ratchapolsitte

Managing Director & Founder of Heracle Capital Ltd. 
Director & Advisor (Privately Owned Companies and Government Sectors)

Piyawat is the Managing Director of Heracle Capital Ltd., a private equity management company. His current role also covers, Principle of Twinpine Group Ltd., where he is the financial advisor for many privately own companies and government entities within the SEA region. He is currently also part of the advisory board for the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand.

He started his career at Maybank Thailand as an Investment Banker, helping businesses with the IPO processes. He then joined Kasikorn Bank, leading the business development team and advisory for M&A and fund raising activities for clients within the ASEAN region. Later he joined Richardson Doyle & Partners, as a Vice President, Private Equity.

During 2015-2021, in the role of CFO at Do Day Dream, one of the leading FMCG companies in Thailand, he successfully led the IPO of the company, raising THB4 billion which made them the most valuable Thai skincare manufacturer in 2017. Piyawat is known to have proven records for being an excellent business partner to CEOs.

Sawanit Numwong

Currently the Head of Management and Online Talent Acquisitions, for Central Retail, Central Group, Sawanit, bring with him well-rounded talent acquisition experience across industries - retail and FMCG from leading global companies and large Thai Conglomerates.

Prior to joining Central Group, he was with L'Oréal for over three years, taking the role as a talent acquisition.
