Mr. Davis Chong is the Group Chief Executive Officer and one of the founding members of Solarvest Holdings Berhad where he led the legacy that oversaw the Company’s strategic development from an SME to a publicly listed company in KLSE Ace Market.

He is well networked and successful in implementing strategic commercial plans for solar market in Malaysia including grid-tied or off-grid system and self-consumption model in the business segment from rooftop to utility-scale solar. Under his stewardship together with the co-founders, the Company has grown leaps and bounds in the industry into a leading company of clean energy.

Davis is also the President of Malaysian Photovoltaic Industry Association (MPIA)

Having spent 28 years of his career handling construction projects in five countries across the world, Rey started his journey in the renewable energy industry in Malaysia as a Senior Construction Manager of Malaysia’s first ever large-scale solar power plant projects under Quantum Solar Park – a collective of 150MW LSS power plants in Gurun, Jasin and Merchang – which was a joint venture between Itramas and Scatec.
Rey is currently the Project Director of Kerian Solar, Malaysia’s first ever 100 MW solar power plant project in Perak. Upon the expected completion in 2022, this LSS project, which is a joint-venture between Ditrolic Solar and ENGIE, would officially become one of the largest solar power plants in the country. With close to four years of solar project experience under his belt, Rey is a true pioneer when it comes to building solar farms and is well-aware of the challenges you could expect to face on site.

Shier Lin Poh

Ms. Shier Lin is currently the Head of People and Office Management in ERS Energy ("ERS"). She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman. Currently working with ERS for seven years and counting, she is responsible for heading the HR operations of the solar EPCC company regionally with a headcount of 200, with offices and teams based in Malaysia, Vietnam and Philippines. She oversees the entire spectrum from manpower planning, recruitment, payroll, employee welfare and general administration of the business.

Shanggar is a Principal Consultant at Robert Walters Malaysia. He has over five years of recruitment experience and specialises in recruiting engineering and technical operations roles within the FMCG, Renewable Energy, Medical Devices, Real Estate and Facilities Management industries. He has successful track record in placing senior leaders for Malaysia’s first large scale solar power plant projects and top calibre professionals within several greenfield new plant setup projects.

Prior to joining Robert Walters in 2016, Shanggar worked in aviation, renewable energy and social sectors for almost two years. He has also founded The Bar, an independent podcast that touches on film, pop-culture, socio-political matters, human psychology, and existentialism. His genuine passion towards the environment, enhancing people’s lives and overall sense of making this nation better fuels him to thrive and be the best in his field.
