The Evolution of the Global Talent Independent Program: Addressing Australia’s Economic and Talent Needs

Watch on-demand

In November 2019, the Australian Government implemented the Global Talent Independent (GTI) Program - aiming to attract ‘super-skilled’ international talent working in high-growth sectors to Australia.

Since then, the program and its requirements have undergone significant evolution. An expanded list of target sectors, a tripling of the places available under the program, and increased processing times for Expressions of Interest are just some of the changes.

Join our GTI expert, Leah Kang, where she will provide a breakdown of these changes, comment on whether the program has been effective in addressing Australia’s talent and economic needs, and predict how it may evolve further moving forward.

This webinar will be of special interest to organisations and professionals working in the sectors of Resources, Agri-food and AgTech, Energy, Health, Defence, Advanced Manufacturing, Space, Circular Economy, DigiTech, Infrastructure and Tourism, Financial Services and FinTech, and Education.
